Research project subjects

600-311 Science Research Subjects

This subject is intended for students who have achieved excellent results in the discipline related to the project.

From 2010 it is the replacement for the following subjects offered prior to 2010: 600-311 Research Project A, 600-312 Research Project B, 516-307 Research Project, 526-326 Projects: Immunology and 526-327 Projects: Microbiology.

This subject is available as science points for students enrolled in a science course.

Application process

  1. Discuss potential projects with staff in the relevant Department/School.
  2. Complete the Science Research Project application form (PDF, 36KB) - this form must be authorised and signed by the relevant department/school.
  3. The form should then be submitted to the appropriate Student Centre based on the student’s course enrolment. (e.g. Science students should submit the form to the Science Student Centre; Bachelor of Biomedicine students should submit the form to the MDHS Student Centre)
  4. If the application is approved, the Student Centre will enrol the student into the subject, with confirmation sent to the student.
