Study abroad and exchange - outgoing students
As part of its commitment to internationalisation, the Faculty encourages its students to undertake studies at selected international universities. Exchanges are available to all students within the Faculty of Science, except those enrolled in the Bachelor of Optometry. Optometry students should discuss options for an international experience with the Department of Optometry.
In most cases, students will receive credit for studies taken overseas. Students should plan their exchange early, in most cases two semesters in advance, for either one or two semesters and generally during second or third year of study at Melbourne. It will provide a fantastic opportunity for travel, to experience a new part of the world, exposure to living in a different culture, and students are bound to make lots of new friends.
