Step 1 - Research
Read all available information for each course:

Step 3 - Apply
Note: if applying for the Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) in any of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences' departments, please follow the instructions listed on the Faculty’s Honours 2010 web page.
International applicants
All international applicants, including students currently studying at the University of Melbourne, must:
- Apply directly to the International Admissions Office.
- Complete an Honours nomination form 2010 : PDF : 48KB
- Submit both the Honours nomination form 2010 form and the completed application to:

Your application will not be considered until you have submitted to International Admissions both the Honours nomination form 2010 and the application through International Admissions.
A single Honours nomination form 2010 can be used to apply for more than one department.
Local applicants
All local applicants, including students currently studying at the University of Melbourne, must:
- Apply online.
- Print a hardcopy of the application when prompted
- Complete the supervisor and/or project nomination fields as advised by the department(s)/school(s) of your choice.
Submit the completed application to the Melbourne Graduate School of Science:

A single application form can be used to apply for more than one department.
Important information for Local & International applicants
- Applications close 20 November 2009. Any applications submitted after this date may be considered subject to departmental approval.
- If an applicant is unable to submit their final transcript by 20 November 2009, the most up-to-date copy of their results can be submitted with their application. This copy does not need to be certified. However, when final transcripts and statement of completion become available, certified copies must be sent to International Admissions (international applicants) or the Melbourne Graduate School of Science (local applicants).
- If all required documentation has been submitted, applicants can normally expect an outcome letter by 24 December 2009.
- University of Melbourne applicants do not need to include a transcript of results, or a statement of completion, with their application.
- If you are a current local University of Melbourne student, you do not need to provide evidence of citizenship.
