Further study
Graduates of the science-related courses have the option of pursuing a range of further study opportunities in the sciences and technology, or other areas of interest. A graduate may:
- continue further study in a range of Science graduate programs
- continue further study in a range of other graduate programs such as Health Sciences (including Medicine/Surgery, Nursing and Physiotherapy), Engineering, Applied Commerce, Law, Social Work Teaching and Urban Planning
- explore Honours pathways to research higher degrees (PhD) in the sciences and technology
Master of Science programs - NEW in 2009
The new Master of Science programs have an exciting new design which has been created as a new approach to professional science education.
Special features of the Master of ScienceThere are three key components of the master degrees programs which includes Science Core Discipline study, Professional Tools and a Project. The project is either industry-related or research-related depending on the choice of program.
Within the Master of Science professional development streams of Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Management Science and Nanotechnology we offer students an Industry Project, whilst students within the Master of Science research training programs are able to undertake a Research Project.
