Transition & support services
Support services
Science Student Centre and the Academic Skills Unit offer a range of support services to students. These are listed on the student support page.
Science 101
Science 101 is designed for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Bsc). It is a transition program that aims to assist students with their switch to university life, providing information on getting the most out of lectures and tutorials, getting help from staff and finding resources.
All first year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science will have an hour for Science 101 scheduled in their timetable. Two 1-hour workshops in the first two weeks and a 1-hour study group each week for the remainder of the semester.
